David Ragozzine, 29, was arrested on Monday, July 22, after allegedly calling Joni's Daycare and Preschool in Canton and made verbal threats to the staff, said Canton Police Capt. Lawrence Terr

Terra said that Ragozzine called the preschool around 12:21 p.m. on Monday and indicated that he would physically assault a specific staff member and kill everyone.

Police said Ragozzine is a husband of an employee at the daycare.

"He made the wrong type of comments and ended up under arrest and in a secure facility," Tara said.

After receiving the call, police responded to the school, and following an investigation, were able to take Ragozzine into custody without incident, Terra said.

He was charged with breach of peace and first-degree threatening. He is being held on $100,000 bond.

The school has increased security measures and has a police officer on the premises, Terra added.

The Winchester Police Department is assisting with the investigation.
